Not everyone has a wine refrigerator or even would care to have one. Some of us simply want to chill a bottle or two of wine or soda without having the bottles rolling around and taking up too much space in the refrigerator. The Vacu Vin Easy Stack is a piece of rubbery material that you lay down on the shelf of the refrigerator. Depending upon how far away from the edge of the shelf you place it, you create the space you need to store bottles on their sides. The material doesn't slip and would be easy to wash if something spills on it. This item is so basic and so useful that I'm surprised that it's not carried in every grocery store and wine shop. It should be, but it ain't.
