This works pretty good, I'm still trying to get the hang of it. But I like it better then a knife cause it does more then a knife, it cuts the melon in half & it scoops out the seeds then it gets the melon out of shell so thats 3 tools you don't have to dig around for & you only have the half of the shell left to get rid of not a bunch of empty slices. It's a very good little tool to have on hand.
